国际药理学联合会关心和支持中国抗击新冠肺炎疫情

2月11日，国际药理学联合会（IUPHAR）召开了例行执委电话会议。IUPHAR中国执委、学会党委书记杜冠华教授因疫情防控紧急会议无法参加，特委托学会办公室赵颖博士参加了本次电话会议。

IUPHAR领导及执委非常关心我国疫情的防控形势，对所采取的防控措施给予高度评价，相信中国一定能打赢本次疫情防控阻击战。多位执委从专业角度，提出了对抗新型冠状病毒的观点和建议。IUPHAR秘书长Michael Spedding教授请中国药理学会转达IUPHAR对全体中国药理学会会员的问候和鼓励。执委们纷纷表示，将尽力提供一切可能的帮助，协助中国药理学者在抗新冠肺炎病毒药物研发、疫情防控等方面作出成绩。

IUPHAR expressed concerns and supports on the COVID-19 prevention and control in China

The Executive committee teleconference of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR) was held on February 11^th. Because of another urgent conference on COVID-19 control, Prof.Guanhua Du, the Chinese Councillor of IUPHAR, assigned Dr.Ying Zhao in the Administrative Office of Chinese Pharmacological Society (CNPHARS) to attend the teleconference on behalf of him.

The IUPHAR Councillors showed great concerns on the COVID-19 prevention and control in China. They highly appreciated the efforts for virus prevention and control progresses that have been made in China and expressed the full confidence for China to win the battle against the virus. On the professional aspects, several councillors gave their opinions and advices. Prof.Michael Spedding, the IUPHAR Secretary-General, extended his greetings and encouragements to all CNPHARS members on behalf of IUPHAR through CNPHARS. The IUPHAR Councillors also showed their willingness to provide as many supports as they can to facilitate Chinese pharmacologists to achieve progresses on anti-COVID-19 drug research and development, and the prevention and control work.
