Wei-Hua Yue Chen, M.D., Ph.D., Professor, Deputy Director of Peking University Sixth Hospital (Institute of Mental Health). She is thevice chairman of the Youth member of the Chinese Society of Psychiatry. She is also a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, and Excellent Young Scholars, as well as the Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program of China.She has received a doctor degree from the Central South University and obtained the postdoctoral training at the Peking University.Her laboratory focuses on the biological psychiatry, molecular genetic study, neurobiological mechanism of common psychiatry disorders including schizophrenia, autism, major depressive disorders, etc., and has published more than 90 papers on peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Genetics, Lancet Psychiatry, Molecular Psychiatry et al. She has won the SecondPrize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education of China,andtheScientific Chinese “The People of the Year 2016”.
