Dr. Hiroshi Nomura is interested in basic principles of learning and memory to contributemedical treatments for memory-associated mental disorders. He is using behavioral pharmacology, optogenetics, chemogenetics, and in vivo calcium imaging to study how the brain stores and recalls memories in mice.
